John Perthuis is a French filmmaker and photographer with a strong focus on the human experience, in connection with nature, movement, community, and the arts.

His visual language is defined by raw emotion, natural light, and authenticity. Whether it’s through photography or film, John captures the subtle power of presence, creating stories that feel alive, grounded, and beautifully human. He has collaborated with musicians, artists, and wellness practitioners to create impactful visual content that inspires and elevates.

John studied cinema in France but credits much of his growth to real-world experiences and the creative people who have influenced him. His passion was shaped during years spent in Australia refining his craft, always guided by a love for storytelling and aesthetics.

In 2018, he founded Krysalyd Films, offering clients a complete creative service, from concept to delivery. After relocating to Bali, he lived in a co-living community in Tampaksiring, where daily collaboration and creative exchange deepened his connection to purpose.

In 2022, he launched Ubud Prod, marking a new chapter in high-quality video production rooted in values of connection, sustainability, and artistry.
